Hi Zhenhao yes this is correct - enter the time of slices as they were acquired :-) >> hdr1 = spm_dicom_headers(xDicomFile{1}); >> hdr1{1}.Private_0019_1029' ans = 0 180.0000 360.0000 60.0000 240.0000 420.0000 120.0000 300.0000 0 180.0000 360.0000 60.0000 240.0000 420.0000 120.0000 300.0000 0 180.0000 360.0000 60.0000 240.0000 420.0000 120.0000 300.0000 0 180.0000 360.0000 60.0000 240.0000 420.0000 120.0000 300.0000 0 180.0000 360.0000 60.0000 240.0000 420.0000 120.0000 300.0000 0 180.0000 360.0000 60.0000 240.0000 420.0000 120.0000 300.0000 I assume that these numbers should go to "Slice Timing - Slice order", and TR set to 0.5. My questions are: (1) Should "Slice Timing - TA" be 0.42? would not that be 0.48? you can see your last slice is 0.42 so the end of that would be 0.48 right (2) Can "Slice Timing - Reference Slice" be 180? (i.e. either one of the two middle numbers in Slice order) if can be any, typically the middle in time (not space) so maybe 0.24 (3) Can "fMRI model specification - Microtime resolution" be 500? (as if there were 500 1-ms time-bins) I'd rather choose the number of slices ie 42 (4) Can "fMRI model specification - Microtime onset" be 180? (reference slice was acquired at the 180th 1-ms time-bin) yes define as the same as your reference in slice timing -- The second study had TR = 2000 ms, and acquisition times below: I'll you work out the other one .. best cyril
