Dear experts,

I am analyzing two data sets that were collected using multi-band, and not
sure how to enter the timing information during the slice timing and
first-level estimation steps.

In the first study, the TR is 500 ms, and I have got the acquisition times
below:

>> hdr1 = spm_dicom_headers(xDicomFile{1});
>> hdr1{1}.Private_0019_1029'

ans =

         0
  180.0000
  360.0000
   60.0000
  240.0000
  420.0000
  120.0000
  300.0000
         0
  180.0000
  360.0000
   60.0000
  240.0000
  420.0000
  120.0000
  300.0000
         0
  180.0000
  360.0000
   60.0000
  240.0000
  420.0000
  120.0000
  300.0000
         0
  180.0000
  360.0000
   60.0000
  240.0000
  420.0000
  120.0000
  300.0000
         0

   60.0000
  240.0000
  420.0000
  120.0000
  300.0000

I assume that these numbers should go to "Slice Timing - Slice order", and
TR set to 0.5. My questions are:

(1) Should "Slice Timing - TA" be *0.42*?

(2) Can "Slice Timing - Reference Slice" be *180*? (i.e. either one of the
two middle numbers in Slice order)

(3) Can "fMRI model specification - Microtime resolution" be *500*? (as if
there were 500 1-ms time-bins)

(4) Can "fMRI model specification - Microtime onset" be *180*? (reference
slice was acquired at the 180th 1-ms time-bin)

The second study had TR = 2000 ms, and acquisition times below:

>> hdr2 = spm_dicom_headers(xDicomFile{2});
>> hdr2{1}.Private_0019_1029'

ans =

   1.0e+03 *

         0
    0.9075
    1.8150
    0.7425

    1.4850
    0.4125
    1.3200

    1.1550
    0.0825

    0.8250
    1.7325
    0.6600
    1.5675
    0.4950
    1.4025
    0.3300
    1.2375
    0.1650
    1.0725
         0
    0.9075
    1.8150
    0.7425
    1.6500
    0.5775
    1.4850
    0.4125
    1.3200
    0.2475
    1.1550
    0.0825
    0.9900
    1.8975
    0.8250
    1.7325
    0.6600
    1.5675
    0.4950
    1.4025
    0.3300
    1.2375
    0.1650
    1.0725

So again these numbers go to "Slice Timine - Slice order", and TR set to 2.
Then:

(1) Should "Slice Timing - TA" be *1.8975*? (i.e. max of Slice order)

(2) Can "Slice Timing - Reference Slice" be *907.5*? (i.e. either one of
the two middle numbers in Slice order)

(3) Can "fMRI model specification - Microtime resolution" be *2000*? (as if
there were 2000 1-ms time-bins)

(4) Can "fMRI model specification - Microtime onset" be* 907*? (reference
slice was acquired "approximately" at the 907th 1-ms time-bin)

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

Best Regards,
Zhenhao
