The Department of Information Studies at University College London (UCL DIS) invites competitive applications for a fully funded doctoral research studentship (3 years full-time or 6 years part-time and pays fees at UK/EU rates) in a research area covered by the department. UCLDIS is a global research leader in information studies and related disciplines.

The aim of the studentship will be to conduct research in one of the research areas of UCLDIS, which include:

                * archives and records management
                * data science and machine learning
                * digital humanities
                * information science
                * knowledge based systems
                * library and information studies
                * publishing

The research will be supervised by one or more of the academics from UCLDIS with other colleagues from UCL, depending on the subject area. The initial application invites candidates to set out a research proposal for a topic which interests them.

Please disseminate this as widely as possible through our various academic and professional networks, and bring it to the attention of potential research students. I am happy to answer any questions. Doctoral scholarship at UCL DIS details are at https://tinyurl.com/y7wmx3g7 The closing date for applications is 15th April.

Thank you
