** apologies for cross-postings **
Dear all,
I would be very grateful if you could participate in my research project that is focusing on how people make sense of 'governance dashboards'. These dashboards are attempts by local authorities to measure and present data about
a city or region, and very much focus on making data available to different types of users. However, I believe that they pose a number of challenges of which sense-making is but one.
As such, I am currently conducting an online survey that looks specifically at the Dublin Dashboard (one of the main dashboards in Ireland). I am particularly keen to get a wide variety of feedback from individuals, civil society
organisation, businesses and government officials and would be grateful if you could both participate yourself but also distribute (and encourage others to participate in) the survey.
and the deadline for responses is March 24th 2018.
A bit about myself
Having worked for many years in project management and communication (Galway One World Centre, Community Workers Co-op) I went back to college in 2014 to undertake an MA in Digital Media. After the MA, I started to study within
the Insight Centre for Data Analytics and am currently in my second year of a Ph.D. focusing on visualising complexity.
Best wishes
