Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh is currently recruiting for two new members of staff to join the Division of Media, Communication and Performing Arts. 

Lecturer in Digital Media and Communications (Digital Communications Focused)

The primary purpose of this role is to work collaboratively with an established team of academics to deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the division of Media, Communication and Performing Arts. In addition to a broad knowledge and understanding of the field of media and communications the post holder is also expected to provide the division with specific knowledge and expertise in regards to emergent media communications practices including digital and social media theory and research methods. In addition to their teaching responsibilities, the post holder will also be required to contribute towards the administrative and operational running of the division, undertake research, and generate income

Lecturer in Digital Media and Communications (Media Industries Focused)

The primary purpose of this role is to work collaboratively with an established team of academics to deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the division of Media, Communication and Performing Arts. In addition to a broad knowledge and understanding of the field of media and communications the post holder is also expected to provide the division with specific knowledge and expertise in regards to digital media industries and understand how digital media practices are changing the production, distribution and consumption of cultural content. In addition to their teaching responsibilities, the post holder will also be required to contribute towards the administrative and operational running of the division, undertake research, and generate income.
