Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that Nima Elbagir will be our Keynote Speaker at the African Women in the Media 2018 Conference. Nima is CNN’s Senior International Correspondent and multi-award winning journalist who exposed the slave auctioning of African migrants in Libya in 2017. Her report caused global outcry and won her a George Polk Award, and the Royal Television Society award for ‘Scoop of the Year’.

 

The Call for Papers can be found here, and the deadline is 26 March 2018.
