Talis Creativity Award 2018
Dear all,
This is
just a final reminder to please send in your proposals for the Talis Creativity Award 2018
by tomorrow, 9th March!
Talis
are once again sponsoring the Talis Creativity Award 2018. The award is intended to celebrate creative and innovative uses of the Talis Aspire Reading List (TARL) and Talis Aspire Digitised Content (TADC) products by librarians, academics
or students.
All sites using TARL and/or TADC are encouraged to put forward proposals for this award. The proposal
can be based on work with any aspect of the service: from back-of-house workflows and processing; relations with third-party suppliers; advocacy, engagement and support; integration with learning technologies and pedagogic practices; or anything else! Some
specific examples of ideas might be: alternative types of reading lists, creative training materials or using reading lists in different ways across your library service and institution.
The key elements of the activity being put forward for recognition should relate to the time period
April 2017 to April 2018. Submissions will then be reviewed, and a winner selected
by a panel of Talis customers and staff, before the award is presented at
Talis Insight 2018.
Please don't be modest or shy! Customers of TADC and TARL are using both applications in any number of creative and innovative ways out there, and it is to the benefit of the entire
customer community to see 'best practices' shared, acknowledged and (in a small way) celebrated. What work could you put forward for recognition?
The deadline for the submission of proposals for award nominations is
9th March 2018. Please email your submission of a maximum of 250 words to Polly Harper ([log in to unmask])
We look forward to hearing from you!
