Dear all,

I’ve been pondering recently how we could do some playful and disruptive things to enable and encourage people to write and publish. I thought we might be able to do one or two days somewhere free (or dirt cheap) to write together and end up with anything from a full blown book to a quick and dirty chapbook (or zine if it was the first in a series?). See my recent blog post for more details: https://gamesforlibraries.blogspot.co.uk/2018/02/playful-publishing-ponder.html

What we did, when we did it, and what we wrote about would depend on who was interested in working together on something. I’ve nothing set in stone, and my main focus is enabling people to write and publish something… whatever that ends up being.

I’ve set up a collaborative workspace (using Slack.com) and invited some people who expressed an interest via Twitter last week. If you are interested (look at the blog post for more details first!), then get in touch with me (not the whole list please) and I’ll add you into the Slack I’ve set up. We’ll then start discussing on that platform where we could go with the idea…
