Hi,
We have been approached by one of the senior nurses on our “dementia ward” for information and research regarding upgrading the existing ward environment. It is already a well-regarded and specific environment for patients with an acute
illness/injury that already have a dementia diagnosis. The team are looking specifically at the use of “reminiscence pods” on the ward so I would be interested to know if any hospitals have used these
and what experience (good/bad) they may have found. Happy to accept further contact details to see how they may have worked in practice.
Kind Regards
