Dear Colleagues,

Good afternoon everyone. I would like to bring to your attention a new route to PhD that we have devised at Manchester Metropolitan University. The PhD by Professional Practice is a route for those who have a portfolio of publications (single-authored, joint authored or multi-authored) that have not been academically peer-reviewed and which are in the public domain or a portfolio of works that are worthy of publication. The portfolio could include for example, book(s), a collection of reports, media output or a substantial high quality online presence. This is not an exhaustive list, you might have a substantial portfolio of practice based publications in a form not mentioned here. If so, I would be delighted to discuss with you to explore whether your work would fit the PhD by PP route. The subject of your practice based portfolio does not necessarily have to be information literacy.

For further information please see our website:

If you would like to know more please drop me an email.

Also, I will be at LILAC for the whole conference and will very plesaed to have a chat if this is of interest to you.

Best wishes,

Geoff
