The CILIP Copyright Conference, taking place on 25 April in London, has once again drawn together established experts to deliver a cutting-edge event, exploring the following
issues:
-
What is the relationship between big data, open content, Wikipedia and open data and how does access and sharing of data within the UK’s
copyright, licensing and publishing framework fit?
-
How can academics fulfil their Open Access funding requirements whilst retaining the freedom to publish in the journals of their choice?
-
What can librarians and information professionals do to navigate the complexities of managing a growing corpus of contracts for the supply
of digital content?
-
What are the latest developments in licensing and how will these impact upon the resources that can be accessed, copied and used?
The programme has been developed with Naomi Korn, Managing Director of NKCC, who will be chairing the conference and will be joined by an expert panel of speakers.
