Dear all

Jiscmail colleagues have informed us that the reason some emails to LDHEN are being “referred to moderator” is because they contain URL (web address) shorteners such as ‘bit.ly’ links (it’s not that you are under special scrutiny – though it is possible you might be anyway ;-)). These may even be embedded within images in the signatures of some subscribers. The simple solution is to check any hyperlinks in your sig and, if you find any of them are shortened, simply replace them with the full URL. (If you don’t know how to do that, ask a friend – it is quite simple, honest!)

Best wishes

John and Sandra
