Arup has always been a data-intensive business, but the explosion in data available from the built environment means we can take this to a new level. We are looking for a Senior GIS Consultant to join our team in London to lead and deliver geospatial driven projects, at all scales.

Requirements and Skills

Essential Skills:

•	A Bachelor’s degree or Masters in GIS or related topic
•	Database management and development
•	Ability to scope out projects
•	Client management
•	Team leadership experience
•	Project management experience
•	Provable experience of use of Open Source packages and solutions both internally and externally
•	Network analysis understanding
•	Data modelling and database design expertise
•	Use of Projectwise or other common data environment use

Desirable Skills:

•	Interest in developing design skills through participation in Meet-ups or other self-learning methods
•	Experience in a client facing role, including pitching and presenting
•	Understanding of asset management principles. Completion of IAM Certificate of Asset Management preferred
•	Experience working with transport infrastructure managers, ideally road and rail
•	Revit
•	FME
•	Experience of BS1192 data management process
•	High Speed Two (HS2) project experience
