We put seating plans outside the room about 10 mins before the students go into the exam so they can check where they are sitting and then this is removed after the exam, but it is outside the venue until after
the exam. Does this mean we cant do that any more as our students rely on that – bit of a comfort blanket process before they go in the exam room for many of them

No we’ve never actually done this. Just provide the invigilator with the list of names and send text reminders the evening before.

Good afternoon,
Outside our exam rooms we have notice boards that display the names of students entered for exams.
We have been advised that we can no longer do this due to GDPR/Data protection.
We have been advised by the powers that be, to display the student ID number only.
Does anyone else already do this?
