Colleagues, Ulster University seeks expressions of interest for an External Examiner for the Foundation degree in Sport, Exercise and Fitness, which is delivered by 4 partner FE Colleges and validated by the University, for an immediate start. The partner Colleges are: North West Regional College, Derry/Londonderry. Northern Regional College, Coleraine Southern Regional College, Newry South Eastern Regional College, Bangor and Lisburn. The Boards of Examiners are held at the individual partner Colleges, generally over a two-day period and External Examiners are required to visit at least once a year. All Colleges are accessible from the Belfast International, Belfast City, City of Derry and Dublin airports. Nominees should have a current knowledge of working in UK Higher Education, an understanding of the expectations for UK academic programmes at Foundation degree level, knowledge of the subject area of Sport, and have membership of the HEA.
