Job Offer for the Area of Evidence-Based Decision
Making - Full-time fixed term 30 months
The
Aragon Health Sciences Institute (IACS) (http://www.iacs.es/instituto-aragones-ciencias-la-salud/)
is the center responsible for research and knowledge management
in Biomedicine and Health Sciences in the public Aragon Health
System. The Institute organizes its activity in two areas:
research and knowledge.
In
the Knowledge area, there is a Health Technology Assessment Unit
(HTAU), which develops reports and provides consultancy related
to health technologies and clinical management. This area also
holds the GuíaSalud Secretariat,
which is in charge of GuíaSalud management and responsible for
the coordination of the Spanish National Health Service Clinical
Practice Guideline Program. Also the area participates in
European projects.
From
1st March 2018, the IACS participates as partner in
the European project IMI2- PARADIGM (Patients Active in Research
and Dialogues for an Improved Generation of Medicines). IMI2 is
a public-private consortium whose main aim is to enable and
improve patient’s participation in the life cycle of medicines.
Job purpose
We are looking for an enthusiastic Evidence-Based
Decision Making Specialist to become part of the IACS team to develop and deliver
good quality and value HTA products, guidelines and participate in
the European project IMI2- PARADIGM.
Qualifications and experience
Eligible applicants should hold a Degree in Social
or Health Sciences with a postgraduate in Social or Health
Sciences; knowledge in research qualitative methods and
excellent level in English. At
least two years of health-related work experience, experience in
management and participation in European projects and
qualitative research.
The candidate will be
working with other members of the IACS’s staff and managers of
the evidence-based decision making area. The post may include
some travelling.
