Hi All,
I'm forwarding a link to a report of the demonstration I attended outside the Crown court in Chelmsford yesterday at the start of the trial of 15 activists who stopped a deportation flight to Ghana and Nigeria last year. The maximum sentence for this is life imprisonment. This is a serious upping of the charge for a peaceful direct action and there is very little publicity about it, given the gravity of the charge. The 15 are being tried under terror laws. If any of you know a journalist who could publicise it, please pass it on. Or you could please publicise on your networks.
Best wishes, Alison
