Psychology Group
Psychology is the largest subject group in the School of Social Sciences at Leeds Beckett University.
We are currently looking for two inspiring, enthusiastic early career psychologists who are committed to providing a high-quality student experience in their teaching on our undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity for an early career academic to join our Psychology department in further developing our course provision and enhancing our collaborative research and enterprise activities.
The successful candidates should have experience of inspiring, high quality teaching and research in one of the core BPS curriculum areas. Candidates who have the specialist knowledge to teach in either Cognitive/Biological Psychology and/or Developmental/Educational/Community and Family are particularly encouraged to apply.
Candidates should have a PhD in psychology, a growing and ambitious publication profile that complements existing research strengths of the psychology group in one or more of our research themes (see additional information), and evidence of, or clear plans for attracting, external research funding.
For an informal discussion about the post, please contact Dr Bridgette Rickett ([log in to unmask])

We welcome applications from all individuals and particularly from black and minority ethnic candidates as members of these groups are currently under-represented at this level of post. All appointments will be based on merit.
