In the conference, experiments and theory/simulation are given equal weight, which is also reflected in the expertise of the 26 Plenary and Invited Speakers, who are truly outstanding, including Patricia Bassereau, Ana-Nicoleta Bondar, Frank Brown, Britta Brugger, Yifan Cheng, Unal Coskun, Ron Dror, Christian Eggeling, Aljaz Godec, Peter Horvath, Chia-Lung Hsieh, Elina Ikonen, Gerald Kneller, Pekka Lappalainen, Ilya Levental, Siewert-Jan Marrink, Hector Martinez-Seara, Ralf Metzler, Walter Nickel, Richard Pastor, Madan Rao, Andela Saric, Tetiana Serdiuk, Kai Simons, Ana-Suncana Smith, and Thomas Walz.
The Conference is supported by several organizations such as CECAM (
www.cecam.org) and EBSA (
www.ebsa.org), thus we are able to keep the registration fee pretty low, especially for PhD students, and there are
grants awarded by EBSA for young scientists. The deadline (March 31, 2018) for grant applications is this week! (more information in the GRANTS tab on the conference website).
