In this webinar Richard Skeggs will give an overview of what Apache Mahout is and the functions that are available. He will also discuss what the framework can be used for
and highlight some cases studies. The webinar will include demonstrations and examples using the Apache Mahout software.
Richard is responsible for the collection and curation of data with a focus on business within the Business and Local Government Data Research Centre. He also provides data
users with information and support. His current research interest include the infrastructure used to support the use of big data. Combined with the use of machine learning for the processing of streaming data.
