[With apologies for cross-posting]

Hi all,

This is a reminder about the eLife Innovation Sprint, which will be taking place in May. The deadline to apply is Monday, March 5. Please see the details below:

Are you a change maker, web wrangler, UX champion or data tinkerer?

Would you like to get involved in a movement to move science from a closed-access, commercially-governed system to a more open, transparent and collaborative enterprise?

Help us to hack science at the eLife Innovation Sprint on May 10 and 11, 2018, in Cambridge – a two-day challenge for developers, designers, technologists and researchers to prototype new products that bring cutting-edge technology to open research communication, in association with the Mozilla Global Sprint.

Apply now

Before applying, please read about the selection criteria and participation guidelines at https://elifesci.org/innovationsprint2018.

Applications will remain open until 9am GMT on Monday March 5. We aim to communicate final decisions by March 23.

For queries about the event, please feel free to email Naomi at n.penfold@elifesciences.org.

Best wishes,

Emily
