Hi all,

The Museum of the History of Science is recruiting for a Digital Projects Officer to support us in our development of a range of projects within the overall Digital Strategy of the University of Oxford’s Gardens, Libraries and Museums (GLAM). The role will involve overseeing the local action plan for the Museum under the GLAM Digital Strategy, especially the scoping and delivery of initiatives to enhance the collections database and its online access, and to plan for digital asset management. It will include coordination of the Museum’s involvement in a number of current projects under the Digital Strategy, including Digital Preservation, Linked Data and Search & Discovery, while also providing supporting data and local knowledge to test proof of concept for the implantation of a Web Content Management System.

The role is full time, and fixed term for 12 months, with a salary bracket of £31,604 - £38,833. The application deadline is 7 March. More information and a link to the application can be found at http://www.mhs.ox.ac.uk/about/staff-vacancies.

Best wishes,

Robyn
