Subject: Potential Event for Lis Literature Group
Hi All
Happy New Year, hope you all had a lovely break!
Leila and I have been chatting and we think it will be a great idea to hold another Lis Literature event, if people have no objections I would be happy to host this event at Royal Holloway University.
The best time for us to hold this event would be during the Easter vacation where these is less demand on rooms, this falls within the weeks 26th March to 20th April. I have created a Doodle Poll
where hopefully everyone can pick their availability and we can select the best day.

I was thinking of having the registration starting at 10:00am, with the event starting at 10:30am to give everyone time to get out to Egham, with an end time of approx. 3pm. I will of course confirm these times once we
have a date in mind.
I personally found the last event relating to teaching incredibly useful, so we were thinking of following the same format e.g. inviting participants to present for 20mins on a given topic. As we covered teaching last
time it might be useful to look into further aspects of our role perhaps collection development, special collections…just some suggestions.
If anyone has any suggestions regarding the theme of the day please let me know.
