Someone in Rights of Way here has asked what the cast iron markers are as in the attached phots. The one on the left has ER and a crown, and is by the roadside at Bushey Heath in Herts. The other is just a much better example, don’t know where. The GR one is clearly 5ft from something, but what would it be?
