Equality in Progress: Disrupting the Sector Research Launch

On Monday 18th June we launch our ‘Equality in Progress: Disrupting the Sector’ Research sharing our analysis of experiences and approaches to equality in the Scottish museum sector moving us closer to developing an equalities-led blueprint for change in the Scottish museum sector.
This event is aimed at cultural, museum and heritage workers
and practitioners
, cultural equalities activists, academics, students and cultural policy makers
at all stages on the equality in progress journey.Content for the day will cover:
- Feminist Museums: A framework for good practice
- Experts in exclusion: Revealing the barriers and solutions to audience inclusion from GWL’s Museum Equality Critics
- Intersectional identities in the ‘academy’: Experiences of museum workers with protected characteristics
- How are Scottish museums are approaching equality?
- Developing anequalities-ledblueprint forchange
