The School of Law at Northumbria University are seeking a number of external examiners for the LLB, MLaw, LLM and LPC programmes The positions will start on the 01/08/18 and run until 31/12/22. Contract Law will begin immediately for a period of 4 years. 

The successful applicants will be required to monitor the quality of course work across a range of modules at levels 5, 6 and 7. The external examiner will be required to contribute to the quality monitoring processes of modules within the programme and to undertake external assessment of assessed work. Opportunities will be provided to meet with members of the programme team and students within the University, and to attend examination boards. External examiners are also required to provide comments on proposed modifications and developments in new modules within their area of expertise, training and support will be provided.
