Three Cochrane reviews focussing on the prevention of influenza in healthy
adults, healthy children and in the elderly are long-running reviews under
the same senior author team*. *The protocol for the oldest review was first
published 20 years ago.


Over the years the reviews have progressively accumulated evidence leading
to ever greater stability in their conclusions set defined criteria to
guide any further updates. The reviews in their final updated and
stabilised form have now been published together with a covering blog
telling the story.
