I still think a list like this is a better forum for discussing stuff in depth than fb but at the same time the way the thing works has pitfalls when it comes to 'tone' and 'misunderstanding' which can lead to some nasty exchanges - the worse thing that happens is when you find yourself being wilfully misrepresented and the more you try to put it right the deeper the hole gets. I think a psychologist would have a field day tracking back through the ways arguments develop here.
