Dear colleagues,
The Leadership Foundation are delighted to announce that bookings for the
BME Leadership in Higher Education Summit
are now open.
This year, the BME Leadership in Higher Education Summit 2018 will focus on, 'Charting success and navigating the possible: creating channels for change'.
We are delighted to confirm that Nicola Dandridge CBE, chief executive of the Office for Students, will be a contributor on the day.
Nicola was previously chief executive of the Equality Challenge Unit and Universities UK and in 2015 was appointed chair of the Taskforce to examine violence against women, harassment
and hate crime affecting university students, with a focus on the issue of violence against women and sexual harassment. This was a direct response to Jo Johnson Business Secretary of Department for Business, Innovation and Skills call for universities to
tackle violence against women on campus.
Nicola will be joined by Shakira Martin, president of the National Union of Students, and Professor Jan Fook, team lead of the
Diversifying Leadership
Longitudinal Study, Cracking the
“concrete ceiling”.
The day will be particularly beneficial to leaders of strategic influence who are committed and able to advance the race equality agenda throughout their institution, as change agents
and influencers.
Wednesday 16 May 2018, Central London:
book a place now.
Please note: The continued development of this progamme is funded by the three higher education funding councils of England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and therefore this is reflected

Please do get in touch should you wish to discuss this or any of our programmes.
With very best wishes
