Hi

 

We have taken a realist-informed approach to our evaluations of the Transitional Arrangements in the UK. This is a scheme in the UK designed to encourage the development of demand-side response to help secure energy supply. 

 

 

 

A third should (hopefully) be out later this year. 

 

We’re also using the learning from this evaluation to undertake a realist evaluation of the reformed Renewable Heat Incentive in the UK. Again, we’d hope the first publication from this will see the light of day before the year is out.

I can’t help with examples of youth sexual behaviour change projects, however, there is a lovely list of projects which look at education which Ana circulated to RAMESES a while back in relation to a similar question about realist literature on educational interventions: I’ve taken the liberty of re-posting it here:  but credit should go to Ana for creating it in the first place!  Worth going to the JSCMAIL RAMESES group and using the search function there to locate either sexual health or education programmes and projects: I did a quick search of ‘curriculum’ and 22 posts were identified – no idea if they’re relevant, but that was how I found Ana’s… https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin

Dear all,

 

I am currently working on writing up articles for publication from my PhD, which was a motivated ethnography of a multi-level (i.e. targets individuals, relations, and structures) youth sexual behaviour change and empowerment programme in urban Tanzania. It wasn’t feasible to do a realist evaluation, nevertheless, I would like to connect my work to the literature on REs of youth sexual behaviour change/empowerment projects, or even better still, ones in non-Western contexts and/or ones which identify as multi-level or ‘complex’.

 

Do any of you know of published literature on this, or of projects which are currently underway?

 

More generally, in change interventions which use education, have any of you come across any examples in the RE literature where CM[I+R]O configurations also extend to unpacking interpretations (I) of the curriculum (R) in contexts?
