STFC Media Officer The Science and Technology Facilities Council is one of Europe’s largest multi-disciplinary research organisations, working with some of the most exciting and inspiring science in the world. We operate five laboratories across the United Kingdom and manage the UK’s involvement in major international science bodies including CERN. We currently need a Press Officer as maternity cover for nine months. We are looking for someone that will work to inspire and excite the wider world about the research we support - whether it be particle or nuclear physics, space science, astronomy and cosmology, environment, biology, medicine, computing, the provenance of ancient artefacts, or more.
