Hello and a Happy New Year,

What does the consent state? Only provide that which is  consented to by the employee.

So if the employees consent is to all notes relating to NHIL that is what you send, however if it states between certain dates you would send only that.

We have come across requests for physio notes which is outsourced, the solicitor has to send the consent to the provider directly in that instance.

Hope that is of some help

Trisha

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] NIHL Claim

Hi all

Quick bit of advice required, please.

When OH notes are requested (with consent) by a solicitor for someone making a claim for NIHL, what should be sent:

  1. A copy of all the OH notes
  2. Just the notes pertaining to hearing

I would be grateful of your ideas, please.

Jenny x
