medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
If anyone can direct me to material on life in medieval Benedictine convents I'd be grateful. As that's a rather broad brief, I should say that what especially interests me is what happened on entry to the convent, whether the nuns continued to own personal possessions, and what happened during  the ceremony of profession (I'm aware of Julie Hotchin's 'The Nun's Crown' but not much else).

Thanks in advance,

Laura
