Also the info re Madeline:

 

“On the whole, we were told by the doctors who were involved, that the currency of books isn't too much of a problem, as they are almost certainly more current than the ones (if any) which are there already.  If they specifically have links with a hospital or overseas aid organisation which has a library service - you could also let them know about HINARI​, which offers low cost access to electronic information - as an alternative to shipping the books overseas”.
