A quick reminder of a couple of workshops coming up in this New Year! Last couple of weeks to book on Lego for Library Teaching in Cardiff - 16th Feb. Just a few tickets left: https://cardifflego.eventbrite.co.uk (A full day workshop, exploring how Lego® (or other model making materials) may be used in teaching situations in libraries and learning support.) Slightly longer left to book (about 6 weeks, spaces permitting!) for a Creative Library Teaching workshop in central York - 2nd March: https://creativeyork.eventbrite.co.uk (This workshop will introduce a range of creative and playful ideas for teaching throughout the day. Certain playful ideas will run throughout, plus we will focus on a few creative approaches in particular: Model making, Collage, and use of Narrative.)
