Regional Editors

I am also always looking for Regional Editors and Topic Specialty Editors (zoos, botanical gardens, museums, historic homes, etc.).  We currently have 17 Regional Editors.  Your job as a Regional Editor is to try to provide one article (or find or encourage other interpreters to do an article) for each issue of InterpNEWS (6x year).  There is no $ but lots of glory.

- As a Regional Editor you also get free advertising if you’re a consultant or work for a interpretive firm or organization.
- Can list being a Regional Editor on your resume or web site.
- Can use the InterpNEWS logo on your IN communications and on your web site.

We would love to have regional editors that specialize in:

- What’s going on in interpretation in other countries, Canada, Mexico/S.America and in the EU.
- Interpretation in zoos and botanical gardens.
- Training and managing volunteer programs.
- Interpretation for handicapped visitors.
- Interpretive research and theory.
- Interpretation in historic farms and agricultural sites.
- Children’s interpretation.
- Any other area of specialization.

If you’re interested in being a Regional Editor let me know.  You can see our current regional editors in the current issue of InterpNEWS posted at: www.issuu.com/interpnews.

Hope to hear from you and publish your work and ideas.  Wink

Cheers,
John Veverka
