Dear Colleagues,

I am organizing a summer trip for Elon Law students that will focus on comparative international refugee law and I hope to be able to arrange site visits to the Trapani and/or Lampedusa hotspots. I am reaching out in the hopes that you might have contacts at EASO with whom I can liaise.

Ideally we would love to provide actual support to ASTs either through providing case specific country research or brief legal memoranda. I have experience leading such teams to provide pro bono support in the US at so called “family detention” centers in South Texas and I hope that I may succeed in organizing a similar effort in Sicily.

I would be very grateful for any leads and/or connections that you could help facilitate!

Best regards,
