An opportunity has arisen for an experienced children’s nursing Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to apply for the post of External Examiner at the University of Wolverhampton. The University of Wolverhampton currently supports approximately 50 children’s nursing students a year (across two intakes) on the Bachelor of Nursing Programme. The successful post holder would be asked to externally examine a selection of work from children’s nursing students across 6 children’s nursing modules per cohort. There would also be an expectation that the post holder would undertake an annual placement visit to enable them to meet students and mentors involved in supporting and assessing students in practice to enable them to complete their annual report.
