Immediate start: External Advisor sought for University of Brighton Curriculum Design Review
We are looking for an External Advisor to the Music subject area, with knowledge of the professional sector and academic experience. The courses are delivered by our partner college, Greater Brighton Metropolitan
College.
Courses included are:
FdA Music (routes: Production; Performance; Business Management)
BA (Hons) Music (routes: Production; Performance; Business Management; Composition for film & media)
FdA Creative Music Production
BA (Hons) Creative Music Production
Due to unexpected circumstances and a short time frame, we need someone to review documents & provide online feedback/questions over the next 10 days.
The external panel member
will:

provide an independent view of the proposed course content and structure and its comparability with similar courses nationally
·
review the documentation provided in the Curriculum Design Online Workspace and participate in the discussion forum (workspace open until January 22nd)
·
consider the coherence of proposed course structure, learning outcomes, level of courses and assessment strategy
·
consider the position of the course in relation to national developments and external reference points, and the effective use of resources
·
attend the Review Event on the 6th February (pm)
·
review the draft report of the Review Event

The Curriculum Design Review Event will take place on the afternoon of Tuesday 6th February at the Greater Brighton Metropolitan College West Durrington Campus in Worthing.
The University of Brighton is able to pay £200 as a fee for this role, plus expenses.
