The Department of Social Policy and Intervention and the Institute for New Economic Thinking at the Oxford Martin School are seeking to appoint two postdoctoral Research Officers to work on topics related to economic inequality.

One position is to carry out research on the effects of economic inequality and stagnation on political behaviours and outcomes, as part of the Oxford Martin Programme on Inequality and Prosperity: Promoting Inclusive Growth.

The second position is to carry out research on the transfer of wealth across generations in rich countries, as part of a new project supported by the Nuffield Foundation on The wealth of families: the intergenerational transmission of wealth.

Both are full-time posts, for a fixed-term of 2 years, with a salary in the range £31604-38833.
