Dear All, Members of this list might be interested in these one-year postdoctoral opportunities at the Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Moscow. Good international candidates with interests in post-socialist urban and regional studies or other topics identified below are encouraged to apply. The post is for one year with a possibility of renewal and there's the promise of "a competitive salaries". It could be suitable for a recent PhD graduate with a record of publications and/or other research achievements. The deadline is the 15th of February. The job involves: - working under the direct supervision of Professor Irina Ilina and Dr Oleg Golubchikov - participants are encouraged to pursue their own research in parallel with working on the Institute's research projects in several broad areas: a) Post-socialist urban and regional transformations; b) Housing-led urban renewal and gentrification; c) Innovation governance in regional and urban development; d) Strategies for smart city development; - writing research papers for international peer-reviewed journals in co-authorship with the members of the Institute of Regional Studies and Urban Planning - participation in organization of the events and other contribution to the Institute of Regional Studies and Urban Planning development - public presentations of candidate's own research to the researchers in the field and the broader academic community - some teaching is encouraged, though not required.
