I liked your example, the elision of 'me' especially. It's not a simplicity
thing, that "wrongness". Here's something short by Zukofksy.
I just ignored the difficult part, the vines are like their child's toys?
Anyway, my point's easily made, and how poets like Dickinson seem (for me)
able to write *around *the metronome?
