Have you seen the Show Us Your Blackboard thread on the community site?  Although it’s more about showcasing the themes and customisations from different institutions, I’m sure some of these are from clients without Community Engagement.  It’s a big thread with lots of great screenshots - see https://community.blackboard.com/message/13131-re-show-us-your-blackboard?commentID=13131#comment-13131.

Also, I seem to remember a few years ago at a BbWorld conference an announcement that the products would be streamlined, and all Learn licenses would include Content and Community.  I’m not sure if this was ever implemented in the UK, but you could double check this with your account manager.

I’d be happy to help myself, but I’m afraid we have Content and Community.

Hi all,

We are considering removing the Community Engagement from or BB  licence for next year.

We currently use this to provide a School specific landing page for students.

We don’t really know what Blackboard would look like without this.

Does anybody have a system without community engagement and would be prepared to share a screenshot or quick online demo with us so we can see what we are likely to end up with?
