Dear colleagues, Submissions for the 24th Annual Meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists (EAA) in Barcelona are now open. We would like to invite you to participate in a session at the EAA 2018 in Barcelona, Spain, entitled “Exploring the potential of dental calculus for reconstructing the past” (Session no. 597) in the conference theme Theories and methods in archaeological sciences. We are seeking papers that bring together researchers who have a interest in using dental calculus to reconstruct diet, health and human behaviour. Submissions presenting research that uses microbotanical, lipid, genetic, proteomic and other techniques, from all regions are most welcome. The abstract deadline is the 15th of February 2018.
