From February 2018 - April 2018 Jumping Rivers will be hosting numerous R training courses in Leeds, Newcastle and London. All courses consist of a mixture of lecture material and practical sessions, each with its own dedicated R package containing documents, practical solutions and data sets for participants.

Dates and locations are as follows, further information and prices can be found at the link at the bottom of this page.

February: 

Leeds

12th - Introduction to R An introduction to fundamental R concepts that requires no previous programming or statistics experience.
13th - Predictive Analytics -  Learn how R can help you with the fundamental concepts of predictive analytics and machine learning. 

March: 

London

12th - Advanced Graphics with R - Moving on from R's base graphics, consideration of how graphics are composed and the excellent ggplot2 package.
13th Automated reporting  (first steps towards shiny) Create interactive documents that update automatically with your data. Including interactive data visualisation tools.
14th - Interactive graphics with Shiny - Build beautiful, responsive, and powerful applications with minimal effort. Regardless of your background, shiny will enable you to present your data in new and innovative ways.
15th - Advanced Programming with R - The main focus of the course is advanced programming techniques, such as S3/S4 objects, references classes and function closures. 

April: 

London

9th   - Introduction to R - See above description.
10th - Statistical Modelling with R - Introduction to a number of introductory statistical routines in the R programming language. Topics covered include linear regression, hypothesis testing, clustering and principal components analysis. 
11th - Programming with R - An introduction to programming elements such as control flow and function writing in R.
12th - Advanced Graphics with R - See above description
13th Automated reporting  (first steps towards shiny) - See above description
