The Center for Healthy Minds is seeking to hire a Research Specialist who will be responsible for data collection, data processing, and participant screening and scheduling for the Neuroscience component of the longitudinal Midlife in the United States (MIDUS) study and a comparative study in a cohort from the Wisconsin Registry for Alzheimer’s Prevention (WRAP). MIDUS is a national longitudinal study of health and well-being. The primary goal of the MIDUS Neuroscience Project, in addition to studying age-related variation in brain structure and function, is to examine how individual differences in the neural bases of different emotional response styles relate to health and well-being throughout the lifespan. The main goal of the WRAP Emotion Project is to understand how different emotional response styles may promote resilience vs. increase vulnerability to the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease.
