That’s an interesting idea - I suppose the downside is that it then still leads to a non friendly URL tho?

I’ll have to look into whether this can be done with WordPress / .htaccess wrangling / etc…

Titles change, so they are more liable to break over time. Could you use the identifier as the actual key part of the URL and ignore the title in choosing the page to serve, as some news content management systems do?
