Titles change, so they are more liable to break over time. Could you use the identifier as the actual key part of the URL and ignore the title in choosing the page to serve, as some news content management systems do?

Question is this: should object permalinks be:

1) more machine-readable, and permanent, using the object identifier - for instance: 

blah.com/object/12345

or

2) more human-readable, but likely more brittle, using the title - for instance:
