Manchester Metropolitan University is looking for new External Examiners for the following programmes in the Faculty of Health, Psychology and Social Care:

· MSc Emergency Medicine

· Certificate in Professional Studies (Burns Care) / Postgraduate Certificate (Burns Care)

These appointments would start with immediate effect and would normally be for the 4 academic years 2017-2021, with duties to include moderation of assignment briefs and student work, attendance at assessment board, completion of an annual report and potential consultation on programme modifications.

Previous external examining experience is preferred but not essential as you would have contact with the other external examiners in the Subject area.

NOTE: Checks are carried out to ensure no potential conflicts of interest, so please do not apply if you are aware that you have a close involvement with Manchester Metropolitan University (or staff who are involved with the relevant Manchester Met programme) within the previous five years.
