Lecturer in Gender Studies

We are seeking to appoint a lecturer (Academic Level B) in Gender Studies. Grounded in the appointee’s established program of high quality research, the successful candidate will teach courses on gender; collaborate with the existing Gender Studies core staff to consolidate and develop the program across the Faculty and beyond; supervise higher degree research students; and contribute to the broader intellectual life of the Department of Sociology. The candidate will be expected to maintain a strong research profile as evidenced through high quality publications and external research funding.

Salary Package: From $99,879 to $118,174 p.a. (Level B), plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading.
