Saturday 21 - Sunday 22 April 2018, 10.00 - 16.20 daily

Seminar Programme:

Our two-day seminar offers a stimulating lecture programme in Russian, aimed at teachers of Russian, translators and interpreters, and all those with an advanced-level comprehension of spoken Russian and an interest in contemporary Russia. The seminar programme has two parallel streams led by speakers direct from St Petersburg, Russia. The Russian Language and Linguistics stream is led by Tatiana Piotrovskaya, Senior Lecturer, Department of English Philology and Language Culture Studies, Faculty of Philology, St Petersburg State University. The Contemporary Russian Culture stream is led by Dr Natalia Bogoliubova, Associate Professor, Department of International Cultural and Humanitarian Co-operation, Faculty of International Relations, St Petersburg State University. There are four 70-minute lectures per day, including discussion: choose from one of two options per session, moving from one stream to another throughout the day as you wish. Places are limited to 30 participants, so book early to avoid disappointment.

Booking Fees:

- 'Early bird' rate - pay by Friday 9 March 2018: £125 SCRSS members, £145 non-members.

- Standard rate - pay by Friday 6 April 2018: £140 SCRSS members, £165 non-members.

- The full fee ('early bird' or standard rate as applicable) must be paid with your booking. Our refunds policy is available on the website and booking form. We accept payment by cheque or bank transfer only. If an organisation is paying for you, we can provide an invoice.
